Hippalectryon

In Greek mythology, a hippalectryon (or hippalektryon, from Greek ἱππαλεκτρυών) is a hybrid creature, half-horse and half-rooster, with yellow feathers. The front half is that of a horse, the rear half a rooster's wings, tail and legs.
