The Furies pursue Orestes, after he killed his mother.

Alecto is the name of one of the three Furies of Greco-Roman mythology. Her name means "implacable one". She punishes moral crimes, such as those to anger and lust. Her parentage is disputed; her parents may be Nyx and Erebus, or she may be born from the blood of Ouranos when he was castrated by Cronus.
