Achlys, meaning "mist", was a Greek personification of misery. She was a daughter of Nyx (alone) or with Erebus or is a daughter of Hades and Persephone.

She was born in Tartarus. She has the power to make people miserable and can create poisonous flowers. She also carries around hercules shield and has large amounts of dust on her body, she claws at her cheeks. Achlys means death-mist. She is the god of Eternal Night/Deadly Poisions/Misery and Sadness.
